Under 11 Lions back to their best

After suffering a 4-0 defeat in the hands of Gosport FC Arrows last Saturday during their second match in the Mid Solent Youth U11A League, the Lions roared back from that under par performance this weekend with goals from Kai Sterne (4), Euan Smart (2), and one apiece from Harry O’Malley and Josh Fox, to register an 8-0 win over Lee Ranger U11 at Seafield Park. All credit must go to Lee Rangers who kept fighting and kept going right to the end.
 
I must also mention the referee, Joe Broadway. Immediately preceding the Lions/Rangers match Joe refereed during a fierce U15 Hants cup match on the same pitch, which went into extra time, before staying on the pitch to referee the Lions/Rangers match without a break. Well done, Joe, you earned your match fees this Saturday.
