Quiz night a roaring success

The under 11 Jaguars quiz side won the annual quiz night on the 10th november, marking the third succesive win for the side! The side, all parents of players in the U11 Jaguars, comprising Alan Crook, Ken Murray, Bryan Davis, Graham Martin, John Williams and Nigel Maris celebrated by drinking champagne (well becks actually) from the new trophy awarded by Club Secretary John Mundy to the victorious side. The side expect to be back to defend the title again next year when the quiz night will be raising money for their tour in 2014.

The side congratulate John Mundy and Phil Broadway for again organising a very succesful evening, in an excellent new venue, The Crofton Club, for ALL the Crofton Saints sides and hope lots of money was raised for the 2013 tour fund for this years U12 age group and to pass on general thanks for those who donated raffle prizes.

Having now counted the proceeds fromt he Quiz night, I can report that a healthy £449 was raised towards the under 12s upcoming tour.

I'm sure everyone had an enjoyable evening and thanks to all that participated and donated raffle prizes.
